Crisp Layered Pie Crust

This is an easy and crisp pie crust you can prepare in a food processor.

Ingredients: two 18 cm pie crusts

Cake flour
200 g
100 g
Skim milk powder
1 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon
1 tablespoon


1. Chill all of the ingredients in the refrigerator.
2. Put the cake flour and butter in a food processor and process until mixture resembles powdered cheese.
3. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until the dough comes together.
4. Divide the dough in two, and form it into balls. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for about 3 hours.
5. Dust a work surface with flour, and roll out the dough into a 2-3 mm thick circle.
6. Put it in a pie plate and press in the dough. Cut off any dough overlapping on the edges, prick with a fork, and bake.
7. Bake for 20 minutes at 190℃.
8. I made a quiche with this crust. It was crisp and delicious.
