Bell Peppers in Butter Sauce

Easy to make.
Let's eat a lot of bell peppers!


Green bell peppers
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon
10 g
Cooking sake
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon


1. Remove seeds and pith from bell peppers and thinly slice lengthwise.
2. Heat vegetable oil in frying pan, add the bell peppers from Step 1, and stir fry until tender.
3. Add sake, soy sauce, and sugar, and when well blended, toss in butter and serve!

Story Behind this Recipe

When bell peppers are cheap I tend to buy a ton of them and fill up the fridge. I came up with this recipe to use up a large amount of bell peppers all at once.
