Easy Microwave Custard Made with Whole Eggs

A quick, no-hassle custard made in the microwave.


Cake flour
15 g
50 g
Whole egg
200 ml
Vanilla extract
few drops
For chocolate custard
Chocolate bar
20 g
Bread dough recipe

1. Whisk together the sifted flour and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl.
2. Add milk and mix to combine, then add the egg and mix well.
3. Cover the bowl loosely with plastic wrap and microwave for 2.5 minutes. Take it out and stir well. Return the bowl to the microwave for another 2.5 minutes.
4. The custard should look like this. Add the vanilla extract and mix well to finish and you're done!
5. For chocolate custard, melt the chocolate bar in the microwave. Combine the chocolate with 1/2 of the custard.
6. I made cornet-shaped buns using (Recipe ID: 518071) for the dough and filled them with the custard.
