Teriyaki Eggplants

Here's a recipe that will show you how to cook eggplants and green peppers with teriyaki sauce.
The sweet and salty flavor goes really well with rice.

Ingredients: 2 servings

2 large
Green peppers
1-2 medium
★ Sake
1 tablespoon
★ Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
★ Mirin
1 tablespoon
★ Sugar
1/2 tablespoon
1-2 tablespoons
White sesame seeds
as needed


1. Peel the eggplants vertically with a peeler, cut lengthwise into halves, then chop them up roughly. Chop the green peppers into four lengthwise pieces, then chop them up roughly.
2. Spread the oil in a frying pan, then stir fry the eggplants. When the eggplants are done, also cook the green peppers. Add the ★ condiments and stir fry briefly.
3. Dish it up and serve with some white sesame seeds.
