Pan-Fried Ginger Pork Belly Slices

The meat has a sweet and sour flavor and goes well with rice. It also goes well with bean sprouts and shiso leaves served as garnishes.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Pork belly, sliced thinly
250 g
Bean sprouts
1 pack
Shiso leaves
1 bunch (about 10 leaves)
Cooking oil
1 tablespoon
★ Ginger (grated)
1 1/2 tablespoons
★ Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
4 tablespoons
★ Cooking sake
3 tablespoons
★ Mirin
3 tablespoons
★ Onion (grated)

Steps

1. Boil the bean sprouts. Grate the ginger and onion and cut the meat into bite-sized pieces.
2. Put the ★ ingredients in a bowl and mix it well.
3. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a pan and stir fry the meat.
4. When the meat is cooked through, add the mixed ★ ingredients and cook until the moisture evaporates.
5. Serve the meat on a bed of bean sprout and shiso leaves! My family likes to season the bean sprouts with mayo.
