Lettuce and Avocado Salad

Lettuce and Avocado Salad

My favorite tomato and avocado guacamole salad, served with lettuce. It's also great on on tortillas or between bread.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Ripe avocado
Lemon or lime
Tomato or cherry tomatoes
1/2 or 6 cherry tomatoes
Crushed garlic
1 clove
Rock salt
1/3 teaspoon
Dried red chili powder or flakes
1/2 teaspoon
White pepper
a small amount
Lee & Perrin Worcestershire sauce
a small amount
Olive oil
2 teaspoons
5 to 6 leaves
Coriander leaves (optional)
a small amount

1. Crush the avocado with lemon juice on a cutting board to make a paste. Transfer to a bowl and add the crushed garlic, chili powder or flakes, salt, pepper and Worcestershire-style sauce.
2. Add some very finely chopped tomato to the bowl, and chill in the refrigerator. Put some washed lettuce leaves on a plate and drizzle with olive oil.
3. Spoon the chilled guacamole on top of the bed of lettuce, scatter with some fresh coriander leaves if you like, and serve.
4. I changed to photo to one I made with cherry tomatoes. Lime is delicious and I recommend it.

Story Behind this Recipe

I love guacamole on salads, so I often have that home.
