Crispy Basic Fried Meat Skewers

These pork and leek skewers are easy to make and delicious. I recommend serving them as an appetizer or in bentos.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Pork (round, fillet, loin)
300 g
Japanese leek
as needed
1 and 1/2
as needed
Vegetable oil
to taste


1. Season the pork with salt and pepper. Cut the leeks into 5-cm pieces.
2. Skewer the meat and leek pieces in alternating order to make the skewers.
3. Coat the skewers in the flour, egg, and panko, then fry in 170℃ oil until lightly browned.
