Our Family's Easy Recipe For Pizza To Serve To Guests

Just put the dough ingredients in a plastic bag and knead away! It's so easy but tastes great. We serve this to guests in our house and it's always appreciated.

Ingredients: one 25 x 38 cm square pizza (8 servings)

For the pizza crust:
Cake flour
100 g
Bread (strong) flour
100 g
Dry yeast
4 g
1/2 tablespoon
1/2 teaspoon
Lukewarm water
about 130 ml
Olive oil
1/2 tablespoon
Toppings of your choice:
Wiener sausages
Mixed frozen seafood
100 g
Cherry tomatoes
Pizza cheese (mozzarella etc.)
150 g
Pizza Sauce
as needed

1. Make the dough. Put all the dough ingredients except for the olive oil into a plastic bag, and knead it well to make the dough.
2. When the dough comes together, add the olive oil and keep kneading (10 minutes). Leave it to rise in the bag (30 minutes).
3. When the dough has risen, press it down lightly to deflate. Place it on a kitchen parchment paper lined oven tray and leave to rest for 10 minutes.
4. Cut up the toppings for the pizza crust. Slice the sausages diagonally. Slice the onion and cherry tomatoes. Defrost the seafood mix.
5. Put olive oil on your hands, and spread the dough out to cover the oven tray. Preheat the oven to 300°C (or 250°C if your oven doesn't get that hot).
6. Spread the dough with pizza sauce, and cover evenly with toppings of your choice. Add the pizza cheese to finish. Bake at 300°C for 13 minutes.
7. Top with something like fresh basil leaves and cut into 8 portions. It's very hot so be careful.
8. I tried varying the toppings by section. You won't get bored with the toppings this way, and looks like fun too.

Story Behind this Recipe

I started making this crust because I wanted to make a Neapolitan style pizza in an oven we recently bought that can heated up to 300°C. Just spread the dough out to fill an oven sheet, top with anything you like and bake! It tastes so good fresh out of the oven, and everyone loves it.
