Chikuwa Isobe Fries

Chikuwa Isobe Fries

I turned my kids' favorite chikuwa into Isobe fritters. It cooked up in a flash with no splattered grease! You can use it for bento or as a dish for breakfast. It is cheap, simple, and delicious.

Ingredients: 2~3 people

1 package
◎White flour
4 tablespoons
3 tablespoons
as much as you like
40 g

1. Cut the chikuwa in half vertically so that they cook well.
2. Make the ◎ batter.
3. Make sure not to stack the batter coated chikuwa.
4. Immediately cover with a lid to keep the grease from splattering, and flip them over while keeping an eye on them.
5. They are done once the grease has evaporated. Enjoy.
6. I also add them to my high school son's bento. It always makes me happy when he tells me his bento was delicious.
7. If you mix the batter inside a mushroom or tofu container, then you can throw it away after using, and there is nothing to wash.
8. If you place them in a box made out of newspaper, then there are no dishes.
