Ginger Pork and Firm Tofu with Oyster Sauce

A dinner for one made with ingredients in my kitchen. Goes with rice.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Firm tofu
1/2 block
Pork (that you froze)
Enough for 1 serving
■Ginger (From a tube is also OK)
as you like
■Soy sauce, sake, oyster sauce
1 tablespoon
1/2 tablespoon
Salt and pepper
to taste
Plain flour
as needed
Vegetable oil
as needed


1. Microwave the tofu for a bit, remove the water, and cut into 1 cm thick slices. Pat dry with a paper towel and coat in flour.
2. Defrost the pork and add a little salt and pepper. Then lightly coat in flour. Grate the ginger and add the ■ ingredients.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add the tofu and flip once it becomes golden brown. Then add the pork where there is space.
4. Once both sides of the tofu are golden brown and the pork has been mostly cooked through add the ■ ingredients and stir fry on medium heat. Flip the tofu to coat both sides!
5. When the pork and tofu have been thoroughly mixed with the ■ ingredients, it's done! It's finished Plate it up.

Story Behind this Recipe

Today the gentleman known as my husband didn't need dinner, so I had dinner alone. So I thought I'd make dinner with whatever's in the house. This is the result of what I thought of with limited ingredients.
