Sweet Potato Kakiage Fritters

This recipe is very simple but makes very nostalgic-tasting tempura.

Ingredients

Japanese sweet potato

★Plain flour
1 cup
★Egg

★Water
1 cup when mixed with the egg

1/2 teaspoon
Oil
to taste
Mentsuyu
to taste

Steps

1. Julienne the sweet potatoes, soak in water, then drain. Heat the oil.
2. Lightly combine the ★ ingredients in a bowl, coat the sweet potato in the mixture and fry.
