Chicken Rice Ochazuke

Ingredients: 2 servings

Chicken thigh
400 ml
Chicken bouillon powder
1 tablespoon
2 tablespoons
1 tablespoon
Usukuchi soy sauce, salt
as needed
Roasted sesame seeds, nori seaweed, yuzu pepper paste
to taste
Plain cooked rice
2 rice bowls' worth


1. Cut the thicken into bite-sized pieces, place in the water, and turn on the heat.
2. Once the chicken has cooked through and the juices are leaking out, add the chicken bouillon powder, sake, mirin, and salt. Adjust the taste as needed.
3. Put the rice in the bowls, top with the mixture from Step 2, plus nori, white sesame seeds, and yuzu pepper and enjoy.
