a little less than a handful (the water will taste slightly salty when tasted)
Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and cook the bacon.
Once cooked, add the shimeji mushrooms.
Once the shimeji mushrooms are tender, pour in the heavy cream. Add the consomme.
Boil the homemade fresh pasta. 1 minute should be fine.
After 1 minute, scoop 3/4 ladleful of the boiling water and add to the sauce. Then add the pasta.
Serve on a plate, season with black pepper, and it's done.
Story Behind this Recipe
I came up with a sauce that would go well with the homemade pasta I had made previously! It came out beautiful!
If you're not using homemade pasta (but dried noodles instead), start boiling them beforehand for efficiency! After adding the heavy cream for the cream sauce, try not to let it come to a boil. Enough salt comes from the bacon and the pasta water.
