Combine all the ingredients, season with black pepper and it's done.
You can add canned tuna or salmon and use it as sandwich filling, or enjoy it with boiled potatoes, use it as a dressing for warm vegetables, or as a dip. It's also tasty spread on bread.
It goes well with deep-fried food. Here, it's served with fried salmon, which goes perfectly with dill.
This is what dill flower looked like. I pick the seeds and keep them to plant next year, or use them in cooking.
Story Behind this Recipe
I used the dill that I grew myself, and tried making some tartar-stye sauce with it. I tasted one spoonful and loved it.
Adjust the amount of dill to your liking. This sauce has the flavor of mayonnaise and the saltiness of caper, so I didn't add any salt. If you are using it as a sandwich filling, reduce the amount of milk. Make it as runny or thick as you'd like.
