Simple No-Fry Sweet N' Sour Pork

Simple No-Fry Sweet N' Sour Pork

I made this for my husband who comes back home exhausted from the night-shift. I made a filling side dish that can be made quickly in the morning.

Ingredients: 4 people

Pork meat (chunks)
400 g
For preparation (soy sauce, sake)
about 1 tablespoon of each
Katakuriko
Enough to evenly coat the meat
Onion
1/2
Carrot
1/2
Green pepper
1
Sweet N' Sour Pork Sauce
☆Vinegar
3 tablespoons
☆Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
☆Sugar
3 tablespoons
☆Sake
3 tablespoons
☆Chicken stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
☆Water
100ml
☆Ketchup (optional)
2 tablespoons
☆Katakuriko
1 heaping tablespoon

Steps

1. Cut the pork into large bite-sized pieces. Cut the onions, carrots, and green peppers into easy-to-eat portion sizes. I thinly sliced them this time to make them easier to cook through.
2. Fry the pork meat coated in katakuriko in lots of oil. It looks delicious if you cook both sides until golden brown!
3. For the Sweet N' Sour Pork Saucem, Mix the ☆ ingredients.
4. Fry the pork meat coated in katakuriko in lots of oil. It looks delicious if you cook both sides until golden brown!
5. Once the pork has cooked through, add the carrots, onions, and green peppers in that order, and lightly sauté. Please use a paper towel to soak the grease if there is too much.
6. Stir the mixed sweet n' sour pork sauce. It is done once it thickens!!

Story Behind this Recipe

I am not good at using katakuriko slurry so I mixed it up together, and this is the result.
