Easy Chinese-Style Simmered Lettuce

This is a super easy Chinese-style simmered side dish!
You can eat a lot of it since it's so light .

Ingredients: Serves 2

1/2 head
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
White sesame seeds (optional)
To taste


1. Chop the lettuce into large chunks. Or you can just rip it up with your hands!
2. Boil water in a pot and blanch the lettuce for about 30 seconds. Combine the drained lettuce, sesame oil, soy sauce and white sesame seeds in a bowl, and serve!!

Since I had left-over lettuce, I made this namul-like simmered side dish.
