Delicious Fried Scallops with Mustard

I coated the scallops in mustard and fried them. They go really well with beer or wine! They are the perfect size for bentos too.

Ingredients: 3-4 servings

Scallops (for sashimi)
Salt and pepper
a small amount
★Beaten egg
★White flour
3 tablespoons
3 tablespoons
★Grainy mustard
2 tablespoons
As needed


1. Season the scallops with salt and pepper.
2. Mix the ingredients marked with a ★. Coat the scallops with this mixture, then cover each with panko.
3. Spread oil to up to 2 cm in a frying pan. After the oil is heated, place the breaded scallops. When they start to crisp, they're done!

I had frozen scallops, so I fried them and they turned out really well!
