Storing Parsley

Storing Parsley

This is a good way of storing parsley in the freezer.
I like that it has a brighter colour than dried parsley.
I just love breaking it apart.

Fresh parsley
as much as you like

1. Wash the parsley and dry really well. Put it back in the bag it came in and leave in the freezer for one night.
2. When it is frozen...just take the bag...and massage it.
3. When it has broken up enough to your liking, place it all in a sterilised container and return to the freezer... The colour should still be bright after 3 months. Just take it out when you want to use it, and put it back in the freezer...
4. If you don't like the stems, just discard them.

Story Behind this Recipe

I remembered my mother used to do this often at home, so I tried it as well.
