Stir-Fried Bell Pepper and Eggs Dressed with Salty Kelp

Enjoy a large amount of bell peppers with this recipe! Although I disliked bell peppers growing up, now I can eat a ton of them.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Green bell peppers
5-6
Egg
2
★Salt
a pinch
★Mirin
1 teaspoon
Shio-kombu
10-15g
Sake
1 teaspoon
Sesame oil
to taste

Steps

1. I used 5 bell peppers, weighing a total of 167g.
2. Beat the egg, and combine the ★ ingredients. Scramble the eggs in vegetable oil. Transfer to a bowl.
3. Julienne the bell peppers, and sauté in sesame oil. Add the sake and continue cooking until the liquid is gone.
4. Toss the eggs and peppers with the salty kelp and enjoy!

Story Behind this Recipe

I came up with this recipe to get over my distaste for bell peppers. I was surprised that I could eat lot of bell peppers this way. Since then, I love bell peppers.
