Easy Marinated Octopus and Onion

Easy Marinated Octopus and Onion

This recipe is very versatile, so try it with different ingredients. It's so easy! All you need to do is cut, mix, and chill!

Ingredients: 3 to 4 servings

Sashimi-grade boiled octopus
150 g
1/2 large
Garlic (sliced)
1 clove (optional)
Parsley (finely chopped)
to taste (optional)
● Vinegar (apple or rice vinegar)
2 tablespoons
● Sugar
1 tablespoon
● Salt
to taste
● Coarsely ground black pepper
to taste
● Olive oil
1 and 1/2 tablespoon

1. Slice the onion thinly along the grain. Slice all parts of the octopus, except for the web of skin between its tentacles, on the diagonal.
2. Put the ● ingredients in a bowl, mix, and add the cut octopus from Step 1, parsley, and garlic, and mix thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and let it chill for a while in the refrigerator, then it's ready to serve.
3. Try the same recipe for salmon. For salmon, you can mix the ingredients right before serving. The sauce will help retain the color of the salmon.
