Strawberry Banana Jam

Strawberry Banana Jam

This delicious jam is sweet and tart from the strawberries and rich from the bananas.

300 g
2 (about 150 g after peeling)
50 g
White wine
50 ml
Lemon juice
1 tablespoon

1. Hull, wash, drain and dry the strawberries. Peel the bananas and cut into small pieces.
2. Add all the ingredients into a pot, and simmer on low heat. The scum will rise after a while, so skim it off and cook down the mixture.
3. Keep cooking for 15 to 20 minutes while mashing the bananas and strawberries. The jam is ready when you can see the bottom of the pot. Please stir while you cook down the jam because the banana makes it thick and easy to scorch.
4. Finished! Spread it on toast, or top on yogurt...
5. Make an easy strawberry banana milk drink. Add 2 tablespoons of the jam and 100 ml of milk, stir and add ice.
6. Garnish with mint leaves for a cafe-style drink.

Story Behind this Recipe

I love "Gomekochan's" banana jam, and I thought it would be the perfect match with a strawberry jam so I made this recipe!
