Spread a thin layer of sushi rice over 2/3 of the sheet of nori seaweed.
Flip the nori and rice over, arrange the fillings on top of the nori and spread on some mayonnaise. Slowly roll them up with the fillings on the inside, pressing firmly into shape as you go.
Cut into desired sizes, sprinkle on plenty of sesame seeds, and they're ready.
Story Behind this Recipe
I tried these at a sushi restaurant. My kids really loved them and asked me to make some. They don't look so good, but they are fun to make and were a hit with my kids.
If you use too much rice, these will be difficult to roll. Thes sushi rolls are quick and easy to make, but since the rice is on the outside, I recommend coating your hands in sushi vinegar before rolling.
