Sugar and Oil-free Banana Cake

All you need to make this moist, fluffy and mildly sweet cake is flour, banana and egg. It contains no sugar, butter, oil or milk, so it is healthy and great for baby food, people with allergies or those on diets.


Cake flour
200 g
Baking powder
2 teaspoons


1. Mix the eggs and banana in a blender.
2. Put the blended mixture in a rice cooker. Sift in the cake flour, and fold it in until it is no longer powdery.
3. Switch the rice cooker on. If it doesn't cook through the first time, let it work through another cooking cycle again! Check for doneness, and you're finished!

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to recreate a moist and fluffy banana cake I ate a while ago, using no sugar, dairy or oil. I succeeded after much trial and error!
