Ground Meat Cutlets with Lots of Cabbage

Enjoy the sweet-tasting cabbage and juicy meat in these delicious ground meat cutlets!

Ingredients: 10 small servings

Ground pork
200 g
2 handfuls, finely chopped
Salt and pepper
as needed
as needed
Tempura flour
as needed


1. Finely chop the cabbage.
2. Combine cabbage, meat, egg, salt, pepper, and a handful of panko in a bowl.
3. Roll mixture in to flat patties. Coat in a batter of tempura flour dissolved in water, then the panko. Deep fry the cutlet.

Story Behind this Recipe

Sometimes you just want to forget about calories and bite into juicy ground meat cutlets. I thought about adding tofu and fresh okara into the meat, but I added a lot of cabbage instead (leaving the meat as is) to make the cutlets juicy.
