Oil-free Avocado and Bean Salad

I love the combination of avocado and beans! A healthy salad packed with nutrients.

Ingredients

Avocado
1
Beans (mixed beans packed in water)
1 can
Onion
1/2 tablespoon
Tomato
1/2 large
Krazy Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons
Vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons
Sugar
1/2 teaspoon

Steps

1. Chop the onion finely and soak in water. Change the water about 3 times.
2. Dice the avocado and tomato.
3. Drain the onion and transfer to a bowl. Combine with the beans and seasonings.
4. Add the cubed avocado and tomato. Toss gently.

Story Behind this Recipe

I added my much-loved avocado into my favorite bean salad.
It's oil-free, but very filling.
If you have some cilantro, chop it up and sprinkle on top for flavor.
