Tuna & Avocado Yukke

Just cut and mix.


Fresh sashimi grade tuna
1 cut (about 130 g)
●Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
●Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
●Oyster sauce
1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
●Grated garlic
1/2 teaspoon
Green onions or scallions
to taste


1. Combine the ● ingredients in a bowl.
2. Remove the peel and the seed from the avocado, and cut into 2 cm cubes. Also cut the tuna into 2 cm cubes.
3. Add the avocado and the tuna to the flavoring ingredients and mix together. Store in the refrigerator to let the flavors meld.
4. Transfer to a serving plate, top with green onions... and it's complete.

Story Behind this Recipe

The Japanese-style tuna + avocado poke I always make felt like it was lacking in substance, so I tried it in a Korean style. I borrowed the yukke sauce from other users' recipes.
