Fried Bamboo Shoots with Sweet and Savory Bonito Flakes

It is good to pack this in the corner of a bento because it's strongly flavored. It is good as a side dish served between the main dishes too.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Bamboo shoot
170 g of a boiled one
Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon
○ Sake
2 tablespoons
○ Sugar
2 tablespoons
○ Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
Bonito flakes
3g

Steps

1. Cut the bamboo shoots to about the size in the picture. First cut vertically and then slice it thinly.
2. Pour vegetable oil in a pan and fry the bamboo shoot. Then add all ○ ingredients.
3. Add the bonito flakes and it is done.
