Cut the daikon and then simmer in a pot until they soften.
In a deep frying pan, add in the oil and grated garlic (tubed). Once it's aromatic, add in the chicken drumettes and stir fry until they start to brown.
Next, add in the softened daikon and the ★ ingredients and simmer. Once it's started to cook down a bit, add the miso and continue cooking down until the sauce is almost gone. Once it's browned and shiny, it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe
When I first started making this, I didn't add garlic, but since my children are old enough to handle it, I add it for the flavor. By adding in miso, it adds shine to the dish and becomes more delicious.
