A Family Favorite: Pan Fried Miso Pork

This is simple and undoubtedly delicious. You will eat lots of rice with this. It's sure to become part of your regular repertoire along with ginger pork!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Sliced pork thigh
1 heaping tablespoon
1 tablespoon
●Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
As desired, shredded

1. Mix all of the ● ingredients together.
2. Cut the pork into approximate sizes (pictured above is a bit less pork than the recipe calls for).
3. Let the pork marinate in the mixed flavoring ingredients for about an hour if you can. You can also rub it in by hand if you don't have time.
4. Lightly coat a frying pan with oil, and cook until golden brown. This looks better if you cook it flattened out as much as possible. Serve with shredded cabbage.

Story Behind this Recipe

This is my family's basic recipe. My children do not eat fried ginger pork, and it does not go well in bento, so I make this more.
Using cheap slide pork thigh as opposed to loin is sufficient. It has a nicer texture, so it is actually better to use sliced pork thigh.
