Easy 10-Minute Rice Flour Snack

This is a rice flour snack that takes only 10 minutes after mixing the ingredients. Try it when you want to eat some bread, but don't have any. They're also good for breakfast. You can easily make them in a toaster oven. They don't use any oil and are subtly sweet. You can also deep-fry them as doughnuts.

Ingredients: 8 servings

Rice flour (or Joshinko)
100 g
Brown sugar
2 tablespoons
Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon
35 ml


1. Put all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well with a spoon.
2. Line the toaster oven baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Use a spoon to drop the batter onto the paper. Bake in the toaster oven for about 8 minutes and they are done.
4. You could also prepare them as doughnuts by deep-frying in 180°C oil. Coat with a mixture of 1 part brown sugar to 1 part kinako powder, and you will love it.

I wanted to eat some bread, but didn't have any, so I tried this recipe out, and it turned out quite delicious. Since then I've been making this often.
