Chicken Breast Teriyaki in Chili-Mayonnaise Ponzu

Chicken Breast Teriyaki in Chili-Mayonnaise Ponzu

My first recipe for chicken breast teriyaki! If you have any sweet chili sauce, by all means use it. This dish uses chicken breast, but it's moist, tender, and delicious.

Chicken breast
Honey (optional)
1/2 to 1 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount
1.5 to 2 tablespoons
● Sweet chili sauce, ponzu, sake
1 tablespoon of each
● Mayonnaise (see the Helpful Hints)
1/2 to 1 tablespoon

1. Remove the skin from the chicken breast and cut into bite-sized pieces (or diagonal strips). Season with salt and pepper. Mix in the honey while the chicken is still on the tray, and coat with katakuriko (or place in a plastic bag and coat).
2. Combine the ● ingredients and set aside. Add some oil to a frying pan (not listed), and cook both sides of the chicken.
3. Once they've cooked through, stop the heat and add the ● ingredients. Turn on the heat again and cook while mixing in with the sauce, and it's complete!

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make a chili mayonnaise stir-fry using breast meat. I got hints from other user's recipes to create this.
