Kinako Butter Potatoes

Kinako Butter Potatoes

This is my second series of easy diced potato snacks♪ This is a mild flavoured Japanese-style dish.

Ingredients: Adjust the amount to make as much as you want

Potatoes
2 medium (net weight about 180 g)
Butter
10 g
Kinako
3 tablespoons
Granulated sugar
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Microwave the potatoes (for about 4 minutes to 4 minutes and 20 seconds at 600W). When cooled, peel the skin, and cut into 1~1.5 cm cubes.
2. Heat a frying pan, and add the butter. When it's melted, add the potatoes, and fry for 2 ~ 2.5 minutes over high heat while shaking the pan.
3. Sprinkle kinako and granulated sugar. Turn off the heat when the potatoes are coated by shaking the pan.
4. Sprinkle more kinako on top if you like.

Story Behind this Recipe

I created this recipe becaseu I wanted my son who doesn't like kinako to say, "Kinako is tasty!" by combining his favourite potatoes and butter.
