Raw Tuna & Avocado with Nameko Mushrooms and Soy Sauce

Raw Tuna & Avocado with Nameko Mushrooms and Soy Sauce

I made this with some extra seasoning so that it would go well with drinks. Since all you have to do is chop and mix, it's a simple appetizer.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Sushi grade tuna (cut into bite-sized chunks)
120 g
Avocado
1/2~
Nameko mushrooms
3 tablespoons
Vinegar
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon
Wasabi
to taste

Steps

1. Cut the avocado and tuna into bite-sized chunks.
2. Combine the listed ingredients from the nameko mushrooms to the wasabi. Pour the mixture on top of the avocado and tuna.
3. This is exactly what the dish looks like when you order it in a restaurant.
4. It's also great with thinly sliced cucumber.

Story Behind this Recipe

I rearranged a menu on the item at my favorite Japanese pub by adding some vinegar. The pub used "nameko mushroom soy sauce" but I used an easier way and just used regular nameko mushrooms and seasoned with condiments.
