My Kids Rave About This Chinjao Rosu (Stir Fried Beef and Peppers with Oyster Sauce)

"This is even better than eating at a restaurant." You will eat many bowls of rice with this... This is so good, your children will rave about it.

Ingredients: Serves 4

Beef
250 g
Cooked bamboo shoots in water
2 small
Green pepper
3 medium
●Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon
●Sake
2 tablespoons
●Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
●Mirin
1 tablespoon
●Weipa
1/2 teaspoon
●Sugar
1 teaspoon
Katakuriko
as needed
Sesame oil
as needed

Steps

1. Finely cut the beef and sprinkle with a little bit of sake (not listed) and salt. Let rest and then coat with katakuriko.
2. Julienne the bamboo shoots and green peppers.
3. Heat sesame oil in a pan. Add the meat, and fry until it changes colour. Remove the meat from the pan.
4. In the same pan, add a little more oil, and cook the vegetables from step 2. When they have cooked through, add the meat back into the pan and cook the meat and vegetables together.
5. Add the ● ingredients to the pan. Heat until the sauce is hot and all the ingredients are thoroughly cooked.
