Deliciously Simmered Sweet Onions and Tuna

Only 2 flavoring ingredients are needed . The well rounded mild flavor of sushi vinegar and the sweetness of sweet new-harvest onions combine for a delicious flavor!


Sweet onions
2 (300 g peeled)
Canned tuna
1 can (80 g)
★ Sushi vinegar
1 tablespoon
★ Soy sauce
2 teaspoons
★ Water
50 ml
Green onion
To taste


1. Cut the onions into easy-to-eat pieces, and put into a pan.
2. Add the canned tuna with the liquid and the ingredients marked ★ to the pan. Simmer until the onions are tender, and it's done! Sprinkle with chopped green onion.

I used sushi vinegar to simmer seasonal sweet onions! It's mild and rich, so the result was really delicious.
