Beat the egg yolk well. I used a whisk in the picture, but chopsticks work fine.
Pour in the milk, and mix well. Add the sugar.
Pour into a glass. Straining in a tea strainer makes the drink smoother.
Story Behind this Recipe
I created this recipe to use up egg yolks. You can freeze egg whites for later use, but not yolks but I didn't feel like making custard or mayonnaise. When I didn't know what to do with them, I suddenly remembered this recipe and decided to try it out.
