1/3 to half a baguette (sliced sandwich bread also good)
Butter (or margarine)
Black sesame seeds
more than 2 tablespoons
White sesame seeds
to taste (not necessary)
Slice baguettes about 7 mm thick. Preheat the oven to 230°F/110°C and bake the bread for 15 minutes.
When you use sandwich bread, cut into bite-size pieces and bake at 230°F/110°C. It seems to take time longer than baguette to dry. Bake it until crispy.
Spread softened butter (or margarine) on the crispy baguette. You can spread it on thinly with a basting brush.
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 230°F/110°C until crispy. During the time, prepare the icing. Combine powdered sugar and egg white and whip it to incorporate lots of air. After that, add ground black sesame seeds and mix.
Spread the icing on the baked baguette. Let dry and enjoy.
Story Behind this Recipe
I love sesame seeds! There wasn't a way this would turn out not delicious.
Bake the bread well until crispy. Enjoy after the icing is completely hardened.
