An Ultra-Easy Way to Make Dashi Stock for Lazy People!

Just leave it in the refrigerator, and you can make dashi stock easily! Use the dashi for miso soup, dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette), and all kinds of traditional Japanese dishes.You can really make delicious dashi stock with no effort! Give it a go! Ingredients

Dried kombu
3 to 5 pieces (to taste)
Bonito flakes
10 g (to taste)
Dried shiitake mushrooms
3 to 6 (to taste)
Water (or hot water)
Enough to fill your container!

Steps

1. Make ready a container that you'd make barley tea or ice tea in. Add the ingredients in the combination of your choice, and that's it!
2. Kombu and bonito flakes, kombu and dried shiitake mushrooms! Use any combination of ingredients you'd like.
3. Put all the ingredients in the container, add cold or hot water, leave for about 6 hours, and voila! You have delicious dashi stock!
