Brownies Loaded with Chocolate

These indulgent brownies are loaded with chocolate. They lightly melt on your tongue. This is an easy, fuss-free recipe that only requires mixing.

Ingredients: 14 x 14 cm pan

70 g
Butter (unsalted)
30 g
Egg (warmed to room temperature)
Brown sugar
30 g
A) Flour
25 g.
A) Cocoa Powder
6 g
A) Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon
30 g


1. Roast walnuts in a 140°C oven for 15 minutes. Chop to your desired size.
2. Place the chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat until melted (about 1 1/2 minutes on 700W).
3. Combine the egg and brown sugar. Blend well with the mixture from Step 2.
4. Fold in the ingredients marked (A) gently. Add the walnuts last.
5. Pour the batter into a pan and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated 180°C oven.
6. Once it's cooled, remove and cut. It's done.♪

Story Behind this Recipe

I don't like heavy, dense brownies, so I experimented with recipes to create lighter brownies with a true chocolate taste. I usually like my desserts less sweet, but brownies should be sweet, so I hit the middle note of sweetness with these. I enjoy rich sweets once it gets cold, so dieting during the winter is hard for me.
