Milk Kanten Jello Made by a 3rd Grader (Easy and Delicious)

Milk Kanten Jello Made by a 3rd Grader (Easy and Delicious)

Here's a recipe for milk kanten made by my 3rd grade daughter. This was her first recipe (she's now in 6th grade). The amount of sugar is approximate.

Ingredients: 3-4 servings

Milk
300ml
Water
250ml
Canned mandarin oranges
1/2 can
Powdered kanten
4 grams
Syrup from canned mandarins
2 heaping tablespoons
Sugar
50g

Steps

1. In a pot, add the kanten to the water.
2. Arrange the mandarin slices in a mold.
3. Turn on the heat and stir until bubbles form. Once it reaches a boil, reduce to medium to low heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
4. Turn off the heat, add the syrup and chilled milk and briskly beat.
5. Pour the mixture into the mold through a tea strainer. Once it cools, store in the refrigerator until set.

Story Behind this Recipe

After many attempts, I settled on this recipe. The taste of the milk is mild, so it's suitable for people who don't like the taste of milk.
It's a subtly sweet dessert.
