Chikuwa Flower Rollups

I wrapped asparagus with thinly sliced ham like flowers, then wrapped them with chikuwa fishcake sticks. Enjoy as an easy drinking appetizer or in bentos!

Ingredients: 2 pieces

Ham (thinly sliced)
2 sheets
to your liking


1. Preparation: Cut the chikuwa lengthwise. Cut the pre-boiled asparagus the same length as the chikuwa (approximately into half).
2. Cut the ham into round strips.
3. Place the asparagus on the ham so that the outside edge of the ham comes to the top. Roll up.
4. Wrap with the chikuwa, and secure with toothpicks. Decorate with mayonnaise if you want, and it's done. This picture was taken before decorating with mayonnaise.
