Homemade Ponzu

This is my mother's homemade ponzu recipe. She loves cooking and was quite proud of herself for coming up with this. Add equal portions of the three ingredients.

Ingredients: 150 ml

Yuzu juice (or lemon)
50 ml
Dashi soy sauce (or normal soy sauce)
50 ml
Mirin
50 ml

Steps

1. Microwave the mirin for a little bit more than 1 minute at 500 - 600 W and bring to a gentle boil (keep your eye on it so it won't boil over.)
2. Add the dashi soy sauce and yuzu juice to Step 1, stir, and it's done.

Story Behind this Recipe

This is a recipe from my mother who loves cooking. She usually adds julienned konbu and preserves it in the sauce. But I omit this as it adds a sticky texture to the sauce.
