Don't Throw It Away!  Breadcrumbs Made With Hardened Bread

Don't throw away bread that's gone hard after a few days. Make homemade breadcrumbs and keep it for baking and cooking.

Steps

1. Use a grater, or cut the bread (should be very solid) into smaller pieces and then use a food processor, to make panko. If you are not using the panko straight away, put them in a plastic bag and place in the freezer. You can also preserve them in a glass jar.

I saw a bakery selling breadcrumbs. I tried making coarse and fine breadcrumbs myself, and found they were very useful, as they could be used for different dishes.
