Okara and Yamaimo Nuggets

Yamaimo yams make these nuggets fluffy, but the outside is crunchy. This is an easy and healthy snack recipe that goes perfectly with a glass of beer!

Ingredients: 5 pieces

60 g
Yamaimo yam potato
80 g
Vegetable oil
as needed
Salt and pepper
a small amount


1. Dry-roast the okara. Grate the yamaimo and mix it with roasted okara. Season it with salt and pepper before cooking.
2. Heat some oil in a skillet, scoop up the mixture from Step 1 with a spoon and drop it into the skillet. Deep-fry them until golden and it is done. Serve it with ketchup and enjoy!

I just used leftover okara from making okara cake and yamaimo yam in the refrigerator to make some snacks, they were delicious.
