Milk Walnut Rice Cake

Sweet and soft dango dumplings.
It's also delicious to substitute walnuts with other nuts.

Ingredients: 12 pieces

50 g
☆Skim milk
20 g
50 g
100 ml
20 g
Katakuriko (for dusting)
as needed


1. Finely chop the walnuts.
2. Put ☆ ingredients in a deep dish, and mix well. Add milk little by little, and stir. Cover with plastic wrap, and microwave it for 1 minutes and 20 seconds on high.
3. Remove from the microwave, stir, then microwave it again for another 1 ~ 1.5 minutes covered.
4. When it's well mixed, add the walnuts from Step 1 and knead it with a spatula until it becomes shiny.
5. Sprinkle katakuriko in a tray, place Step 4, and form into a stick.
6. Cut Step 5 into 12 even pieces, and roll into balls.
