Spicy Stir-Fried Rice Packed With Leeks and Sesame Seeds

This quick fried rice dish will whet your appetite.

Ingredients: 1 bowlful

Cooked rice
1 rice cooker cup's worth (180 g)
Ground pork
100 g
Green onion (thinly sliced)
3
Ginger (grated)
1 clove
Sesame seeds
1-2 tablespoons (preferably a generous amount)
Chinese soup stock
1 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
a small amount
●Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
●Sesame oil
2 teaspoons
●Gochujang
1-2 teaspoons (to taste)
●Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon
Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Mix the ● ingredients together. Next, stir in the gochujang and dissolve it.
2. Heat the vegetable oil and stir fry the ginger until aromatic. Add the pork and separate it while stir frying.
3. Once it all has browned, add the leeks and stir fry. Then, season with the ● ingredients.
4. Finally, add the rice to Step 3 and break it up while quickly stir frying. Add the sesame seeds and Chinese soup stock, and season with black pepper. Now, it's ready.

Story Behind this Recipe

I love spicy pork dishes. I used user "uushi-san" and "nanamama-san"'s gochujang recipes, which inspired me to make this recipe with stir-fried rice. Thank you to both of you!
