Easy Celery Chicken Soup

Just throw all the ingredients into a pot. This is an easy and delicious chicken soup with a nice celery fragrance.

Ingredients: More than 4 plentiful servings

Celery
1 stalk
Chicken breast
1/2
Carrot
5 cm
Onion
1/2
Chicken consomme stock cubes
3
Salt and pepper
A small amount
Mirin
1 teaspoon
Usukuchi soy sauce
1 teaspoon

Steps

1. Chop the ingredients into bite-size pieces (cut the chicken into 1 cm cubes and thinly slice the vegetables).
2. When the water (about 900 ml) starts to boil, add the consomme, chicken, vegetables, and seasonings! Simmer for about 10 minutes.
3. Right before turning off the heat, sprinkle chopped celery leaves, and it's finished. The soup is fragrant and delicious!

Story Behind this Recipe

Fresh celery is of course delicious, but stir-fried and simmered celery is also tasty. This soup with beaten egg reminds me of my school lunch and makes me nostalgic.
