Vinegared Mackerel and Grated Daikon Radish

It's not really a recipe, just an idea for a refreshing mackerel dish.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Vinegared mackerel
80 g
Daikon radish
Green onion or scallion
a small amount
Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon
Ichimi spice
to taste


1. Thinly slice the vinegared mackerel. Since you want to mix it in really well with the daikon radish, make sure the slices are thin.
2. Combine the lemon juice, soy sauce, and ichimi spice.
3. Grate the daikon radish and lightly strain the moisture away. Add it to the mackerel and roughly toss.
4. Arrange it on a dish and top with Step 2. Garnish with green onions.

I thought up this recipe when I bought some vinegared mackerel that was a bit greasier than I expected. I wanted to eat it in a refreshing way, so I used what I had on hand.
