Curry Flavored Pork Fillets

I made teriyaki-style pork fillets and topped them over shredded cabbage. They're great with rice!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Pork filet
300 g
Salt and pepper
to taste
○ Plain flour
1 tablespoon
○ Curry powder
1/2 teaspoon
● Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
● Mirin
2 tablespoons
● Sake
1 tablespoon
● Sugar
1 teaspoon
Cabbage
to taste

Steps

1. Cut the pork fillets into bite-sized pieces and season them with salt and pepper.
2. Combine the all-purpose flour and curry powder and coat the pork with it. Pan-fry both sides of the pork and move them onto a plate.
3. In the same skillet, add the ● seasonings and bring it to a boil. Return the pork and coat quickly. Serve on a bed of shredded cabbage while they are still hot and enjoy.

Story Behind this Recipe

This is also a recipe that I learned from my mother. Since it makes the cabbage tender and easier to eat, she told me, "make sure you put the pork on top of the cabbage".
