Hashed Beef Rice in 15 Minutes

A quick dish using staple kitchen cupboard ingredients.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Thinly sliced beef
150 g
Onion

King oyster mushrooms
4-5
Broccoli
as needed
Basic tomato sauce
1 can
Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Cake flour
2 tablespoons
Butter
1 tablespoon
Water
100 ml
Salt and pepper
as needed
Sugar
pinch
Cooked rice

Steps

1. Cut the broccoli into bite-size pieces and blanch. Thinly slice the onion and king oyster mushrooms.
2. Melt butter in a frying pan and add onions. When the onions become translucent, add beef and king oyster mushrooms. Sprinkle flour and cook, combining everything together well.
3. Add tomato sauce and water and mix well. Add the Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Add broccoli and cook for a few minutes.
